Growing up, my parents instilled in me the importance of voting. I remember visiting Town Hall and standing by their sides as they cast their ballots in each election. Whether 2024 is your 1st or 50th time heading to the polls, thank you for being a voter!

Help, I did not register to vote in time – what can I do? (Same Day Voter Registration)

You’re in luck! Connecticut offers Same Day Registration (SDR) for the November General Election. SDR is available to anyone who meets the eligibility requirements for voting in Connecticut and is not already registered, OR is registered in one town but has moved to another town.

You can register and vote on the same day, either during the Early Voting period (October 21-November 3) or on Election Day (Tuesday, November 5.)  Important: SDR is offered at ONE location in each town, do not go to your local polling place if you need SDR. You will need to provide proof of identity and residency. Learn more about CT Same Day Registration.
